"OH MY, OH MY GOD, THE ENTERTAINMENT'S HERE!"
~AJR
I am a full-service, mobile disc jockey and emcee located in Southern Maine. Weddings are sort of "my thing," but I'm also available for private parties of any sort such as birthdays, retirement, holidays, etc... Pretty much anything you want to celebrate can be enhanced by music.
Who doesn't get chills the first time they hear the Imperial March in Star Wars? And who doesn't get transported back to their childhood when they hear Alan Silvestri's score from Back To The Future? Scores and soundtracks play such a big role in creating a memory that lasts a lifetime.
My first "gig" was a friend's Sweet Sixteen party. I used a home stereo, a Radio-Shack microphone and my own CDs. All-in-all, I'd call it a success, but I've come a long way, and so has the equipment.
I've always loved technology and entertainment. I graduated from the New England School of Communications with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and a concentration in Radio. I worked for Portland Radio Group for over a dozen years, both on-air for WYNZ and WMGX, and producing for WGAN’s #1-rated morning show.
When I meet with couples to talk about their wedding music, I love to hear about their musical memories. The song that her dad would play as he whisked her around the living room as a young girl. The very first CD he played in his first car's stereo. The song she'd belt out with her girlfriends at every school dance.
My goal with every couple, at every wedding is to celebrate those unique musical memories, while creating even more.
Please check out the site and if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or just want to talk about feelings, contact me through the message form or give me a call. I'll be happy to answer questions, receive comments, address concerns, and analyze your feelings (I'm guessing you were fed too many Cheerios as a child).
That should just about do it for the introduction! Tour the site and give me a call!
